About Aashna Mehta

Aashna Mehta is a board-certified Physician Assistant at Dermatology Consultants of Gloucester. Aashna earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She then graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) Master’s of Physician Assistant Program, was the recipient of The Eugene Stead, Jr., MD Award and was inducted into the Pi Alpha Honor Society.

Aashna’s interests include management and treatment of a wide range of dermatologic conditions, skin cancer prevention, skin care and aesthetics/cosmetics. She is licensed in Virginia and is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Aashna enjoys spending her time in her home state, Virginia, with her husband and their beloved dog, Whiskey. Aashna’s hobbies include cooking, traveling, and immersing herself in different cultures and foods. She has a special interest in tutoring and mentoring students who are interested in the medical field.
