They also provide preventive services such as routine wellness exams to protect the health of family members of every age. With every visit, patients can expect the personal, one-on-one attention from either Dr. Thomas or Dr. Shama to ensure continuity in care.

As part of the Huguley Medical Associates family, the team at Wilshire Family Medicine Clinic offers a variety of services for both acute and chronic medical conditions. Their office is fully equipped to perform routine health evaluations, administer diagnostic testing, and provide innovative treatment options. The staff also offers customized treatment plans to help patients manage chronic diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, mole and abcess removal.

Specialized pediatric services, including routine wellness exams and immunizations, are available at Wilshire Family Medicine Clinic for the youngest members of the family. For women, Dr. Thomas and Dr. Shama provide comprehensive women’s wellness services, including in-office STD testing for both mean and women as well as Pap tests.

Dr. Thomas received his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas, and completed his residency at Fort Worth Osteopathic Hospital. He has been practicing in the Burleson area for over 30 years and is accredited in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.

Dr. Shama is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and earned her medical degree from Jinnah Sindh Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan. She then completed her residency training at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell, New Mexico.
