Mareena is very patient, she makes me very comfortable in her office and understands what I may need help with as I go on with my life as a low vision person to be a full functioning and contributing member of the society. Mareena helps me understand I am not a less of a member of the society because of I lack the normalcy of vision, she and Vista center will help empower me with what is/are needed to achieve my goals.

My appointment with Dr. Roufail was extremely positive.
I learned ways to improve my vision for now that were simp;e changes in glasses type, and assistive device to help in everyday functioning that had been frustrating for me.
Dr Roufail was interested in me as a person, explained why I had some problems and what could be done to help with
them. We explored several types of assisted device to find what I was comfortable with.
I left the Center feeling much more positive . Read less
