It's a bit early in my treatment (four sessions in...) to say much of value, but the experience has been interesting and positive so far. Yong Shin seems to know what he's doing, but I don't really know what he's doing... So, let me just say that each session consists of his cordial greeting and efficient placement of the needles, after which I lie comfortably (face down so my lower back is exposed) for about 20 minutes while gentle electrical current passes between some of the needles. Persistent shoulder/arm pain for nearly 3 months. Aspirin, Tylenol (Extra Strength, Arthritis Strength), Aleve, Advil and topical medications did nothing. I don't know anyone that has had acupuncture treatments but I thought it wouldn't hurt to try. So glad I did! One treatment and one day later the pain had subsided by 75-80%. What a blessing. I am hopeful that eventually the pain will be gone permanently but right now, my quality of life has improved greatly. Thank you Dr. Shin! Read less
