About Nima Sana, DPM

As the founder of Phoenician Foot & Ankle Specialists, Nima Sana, DPM, is a skilled podiatrist providing comprehensive podiatry care to patients in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Sana is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and board qualified in foot surgery as well as reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. 

Dr. Sana received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, receiving top-notch podiatric medical training at affiliated teaching hospitals and clinics in Manhattan. Thereafter, he completed a three-year podiatric surgical residency at the world-renowned Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan. He was trained by more than twenty podiatric surgeons and foot and ankle orthopedists in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions, with extensive training in both conservative and surgical management. 

A long-time resident of the Valley of the Sun, Dr. Sana has expert knowledge in treating and resolving a wide spectrum of foot and ankle conditions. His calling for podiatric medicine came from his passion for resolving complicated and painful issues. Dr. Sana’s extensive training spans across wound care, diabetic foot care and limb salvage, managing emergency trauma and complicated foot infections, sports injuries, pediatric foot care, and all other podiatric foot and ankle ailments. 

At Phoenician Foot & Ankle Specialists, the office features state-of-the-art equipment such as digital X-rays and ultrasounds to offer their patients the best quality podiatric care available. Dr. Sana understands that surgical intervention may be an option of last resort for some patients, and therefore utilizes both non-surgical and surgical procedures, considering surgical intervention after conservative care.
