About the Practice
Parkchester Family Podiatry is a Bronx legacy, with an over 80 year history of providing excellent comprehensive foot care in all aspects of podiatry including foot surgery. In fact the practice has been providing great care to the neighborhood even before the neighborhood was built! Established in 1938 by Dr. Arthur Wolstein-a Bronx legend himself and die hard Yankees fan- the tradition continued with his son Peter until his retirement in 2016, and continues with Dr. Ernest Isaacson and associates. Centered in the heart of the Bronx, the practice cares for patients from all areas of New York City. Come see for yourself why generations of Parkchester, Bronx, and New York City residents have trusted their feet in the gentle hands of the podiatrists at Parkchester Family Podiatry.
The providers have an objective to cure, enlighten, and heal all patients in the most convenient and enjoyable place possible. Known for listening and responding to each patient’s individual needs, the team effectively diagnoses and treats all foot and ankle conditions.
In addition to preventive care, which is particularly important for diabetic patients, the team provides comprehensive care for a host of common ailments. Patients come to the practice for the treatment of bunions, plantar fasciitis, sports injuries, neuromas, heel pain, and more. The podiatry team even helps with skin and nail issues, including athlete’s foot and toenail fungus.
Parkchester Family Podiatry providers understand that well-informed patients are more qualified to make important decisions regarding their health and well-being. For this reason, the podiatrists spend extensive one-on-one time with patients during appointments to provide detailed education about a patient’s diagnosis and treatment options.
The team at Parkchester Family Podiatry welcomes new and existing patients. They care for all members of a patient's family, including babies and young children.
