Widely published in top medical journals, including the International Journal of Cardiovascular Diseases and the Journal of Nuclear Cardiology, Dr. Ahmad was awarded the New York’s Top Doctors Award in 2016. Certified in nuclear cardiology by the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC) and echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography (NBE), Dr. Ahmad maintains active memberships in several professional societies, including the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American College of Physicians.
