About Practice

Mile High Eye Institute, located in Sheridan, Colorado, is a specialty Ophthalmology practice serving the Denver metro community including Castle Rock, Broomfield, Aurora, Littleton as well as our satellites in Goodland, KS and Edwards, CO. Board-certified ophthalmologists William Richheimer, MD, Zachary Vest, MD and Leonid Zukin, MD perform a wide and unique range of eye-care services.  We also look forward to Marshall J. Huang, MD joining our practice this fall.

Investment in state-of-the-art technology is key at Mile High Eye Institute, which offers a variety of laser-assisted procedures, such as laser in-situ keratomileusis (LASIK®) and photo refractive keratectomy (PRK) for individuals with nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Along with laser surgery, the practice performs the latest procedures to enhance eye health. Dr. Vest is a leading glaucoma specialist who treats even the most advanced closed-angle glaucoma cases. Meanwhile, Dr. Richheimer, a top corneal specialist, performs all types of corrective procedures, including cornea transplants and corneal cross linking (CXL).

Our Optometrists (Audrey Hudson, Madeline Graber, Lisa Reyes and Ashley Esser) located in the Greater Denver Metro Area provide an elevated care experience with detailed consultation prior to surgery.
