I’ve always had a good experience when going to Mansfield Urgent care and at this particular facility. The staff and nurses are always nice and attentive. The only thing I have a concern about is why it takes so long to actually be seen by a nurse practitioner or even a doctor. My appointment was a 3 on Wednesday and I wasn’t called to go back to a room until 3:45. It’s almost like in between every assessment you wait 15 minutes and then you’re finally release. It’s just about every time too. That’s why my kids always hated going there because of the time you sit and wait. Other than that, you get great care overall. When you’re really sick and don’t feel good, you don’t want to sit and wait, you want to be seen and get out of there. Then when I went to pick up my medicine at CVS, they said it wasn’t called in yet and I had to wait another 1 and 1/2 hour before my prescriptions were ready. I told them I was waiting for them too. I don’t know if that was a delay in them receiving the prescriptions from the doctor or if they were backed up. So, having said all this, I checked in at 3 and finally got home at 7:40 after waiting for my prescriptions, after being diagnosed with type A flu. I was not feeling well at all and shouldn’t have to sit around and wait. Read less
