As a compassionate and caring family medicine doctor, Bipin Kumar, MD, a Certified Medical Home provider accredited by AAAHC, offers his personalized attention to every patient at Himalaya Family Medicine Clinic in Aurora, Colorado. As a board-certified physician by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Kumar has extensive experience in many aspects of medicine and has completed years of dedicated research to ensure his patients receive the highest quality of care.
One of Dr. Kumar’s favorite aspects of practicing family medicine is spending as much time as possible with each patient, listening to their concerns and questions, and creating a custom treatment plan based on their needs. Dr. Kumar never forces a patient to follow his advice and prefers giving all the necessary information to help them make the best decision for their own health care.
Dr. Kumar earned his degrees in medicine and surgery at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences in Ranchi Jharkhand, India. He went on to complete his residency in family medicine at St. Vincent’s HealthCare in Jacksonville, Florida. When he came to the United States, Dr. Kumar completed six years of micronutrient research to understand the optimal human diet for health and performance. Dr. Kumar was the author and coauthor of 16 published research papers.
At Himalaya Family Medicine Clinic, Dr. Kumar offers a variety of diagnostic and treatment services for acute and chronic medical conditions. He believes strongly in preventive care for healthy people, focusing on lifestyle, nutrition, and health screenings to ensure a long, happy life. His primary goal is to give patients the right tools to thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Dr. Kumar is fluent in English and Hindi for the convenience of his patients. When he’s not working at his clinic, Dr. Kumar adores spending time with his amazing family, often on hikes through beautiful Colorado.

My visit with Dr. Kumar was great. The Dr. listen to my concerns and was very understanding and patience with me. I felt that he really cared about me and was very professional. If anyone is looking for a Doctor who is knowledgeable and caring I highly recomend Dr. Bipin Kumar,MD.
Results were not provided accurately by front desk staff and never provided by a doctor. When voicing concerns about medication prescribed with proof and requested to speak with provider, he never called and instead relayed messages through admin staff. Concerns of treatment from clinic staff were overlooked and received a notice of dismal to not be treated there any longer. Do not recommend.
Worst doctor office I ever been to. And the doctor... I don't know how he got his DR license.

I received very good care One think I don't understand why Emma Ludema sent me to a clinic that doesn't take my insurance. I have appointment on June 28th at 10:00 am for the test. I will have to pay the bill myself. Emma is very good at her job. I will try to find a different place for the test Thank You.
