Greater New York Gastroenterology is a specialized practice located in the Flatiron district of New York City, serving the gastrointestinal needs of patients from across the city since 2004. Dr. Hon-Ming Eng and his colleagues provide their patients with high quality, personalized service. The practice specializes in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders including colon cancer, acid reflux, and other stomach and liver disorders. They perform colonoscopies, endoscopies, flexible sigmoidoscopies and have an on-site clinical laboratory where blood tests are completed. Greater New York Gastroenterology is an accredited office based endoscopy center, following the stringent guidelines set by the State of New York.

Dr. Eng completed his medical degree at the State University of New York – Down State Medical Center and served his internship and residency at Boston City Hospital and Mt. Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Eng also participated in a three-year fellowship in Gastroenterology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Since the practice opened in 2004, Dr. Eng and his colleagues have provided a variety of services including treatments for acid reflux, hepatitis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), and Crohn’s Disease. Dr. Eng and his colleagues help patients to improve and maintain good digestive health. Patients can expect to be treated with the greatest respect and to receive the highest possible quality care. The staff speaks English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
