Essencia Family Practice and Immediate Care Clinic serves families in the Carrollton, Texas area with comprehensive, compassionate family medical care. Founded by Olusesan Olotu, MD, the family practice uses its resources to help you and your family achieve optimal health.

Dr. Olotu is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and a Diplomate of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. After obtaining his Medical degree in Nigeria, he trained in Orthopedics Surgery in various Hospitals in the United Kingdom. He then relocated to the USA and completed Residency training in Family Medicine at the renowned Howard University Hospital, Washington DC where he excelled in research and academics.

Dr. Olotu has over fifteen years’ experience of providing comprehensive quality health care in various settings including the Emergency room, hospital in-patient service and the outpatient clinic setting. He is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physician, Texas Academy of Family Physician, Texas Medical Association and Denton County Medical Society. His professional mantra is “treat others as you would like to be treated”.
