About Dr. Jani
Shalin Jani, DMD, is an award-winning dentist at Elegant Smiles of Matawan in Matawan, New Jersey. He specializes in keeping patient mouths healthy while improving their smiles.
Dr. Jani earned his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, New Jersey, before completing dental school at the former New Jersey Dental School in Newark. He completed a formal dental residency with St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York City. Committed to advancing his education and expanding his knowledge to offer patients the highest quality care, Dr. Jani also completed several graduate level studies, including a mini residency with the California Implant Institute in San Diego, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Maxicourse, and the Comprehensive Aesthetics Program and Ultimate Occlusion Program, both at Hornbrook Center for Dentistry in La Mesa, California.
Respected by both his peers and patients, Dr. Jani is listed as a “top dentist” by Castle Connolly and a “top dentist” by Leading Physicians of America. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. Jani is also a credentialed member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
