Shaghayegh “Sherri” Tavassoli, DO, is the leading provider and family medicine specialist at Beverly Hills Medical Institute, serving patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and surrounding areas in west-central Los Angeles County, California. 

Dr. Tavassoli graduated with her Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. Shortly after, she earned her Doctor of Osteopathy at the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. She commenced her post-graduate journey through internship, residency, and fellowship in family medicine. 

Dr. Tavassoli has a heart and passion for patient care, specifically in preventive family medicine. She sees firsthand how patients, especially those uninsured or underinsured, can struggle to receive proper medical care. With a focus on preventive care, Dr. Tavassoli makes it a personal mission to make herself the “medical home” of her patients.
