I felt very “cared about” with Amanda, the nurse who drew my blood (sorry, do not remember her name if she told me!), and of course Dr Gerald Marshbanks! I like having a good rapport with the staff, and LOVE how honest, caring, and considerate Dr Marshbanks is during my visits! He makes me feel like a person, not just a patient!! I pray for his safety and great vacation while in Italy for 2 weeks! BTW, I can’t find the LWR magazine called “Lakewood Ranch Life w/his pic on the cover & interview”. Read less

The first thing that impressed me was she came in with a handshake knew my name and was looking me straight in the eye as she was speaking and she ended it with the same thing. A look in the eye and I’m glad to meet you and I look forward to getting to know you, the human element of medicine gets lost because of all the different structures and pharmacies, etc. so it was very refreshing to have a big smile and know that it was genuine.
