Thomas Lim, DPM, is an experienced podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon, and he’s happy to serve people throughout the Los Angeles area at The Sunset Foot Clinic. The Sunset Foot Clinic boasts eight locations in Silver Lake, Beverly Hills, Sherman Oaks, and Whittier, CA. Dr. Lim graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a degree in biology. He then attended the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. He completed his residency at Staten Island University Hospital in New York City and has been in private practice ever since.
Dr. Lim is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine as well as the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. In addition to primary podiatric care, his specialties include the prevention and treatment of diabetic foot wounds and diabetic footwear. He’s also a qualified medical evaluator in the state of California, providing examinations in workers’ compensation cases.

Dr. Smith graduated from California State University at Northridge with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. He then earned a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. After medical school, Dr. Smith completed a 3-year surgical residency at Phoenix Baptist/Maricopa Medical Center in Arizona.
He has over 15 years of experience in diabetic limb preservation wound care. Dr. Smith is board-certified with American Board of Podiatric Medicine and also holds a Certificate of Added Qualification and Amputation Prevention and Wound Care.
When Dr. Smith is not practicing medicine, you will find him spending time with his family and tinkering with classic cars and golfing.
