Raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Dr. Mirkovic completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She earned her medical degree at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine). She completed her post-graduate studies at Presence Saint Joseph Hospital of Chicago, during which she served as chief resident her final year. Her education focused on both forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery, as well as all aspects of podiatric medicine.
Dr. Mirkovic provides foot and ankle treatment to patients of all ages, including conservative and surgical options. She strives to provide patient-centered care and open a strong chain of communication between herself, her patients, and their families. Dr. Raestas is also trained in advanced wound care therapies and certified in total ankle replacement surgery. Dr. Mary Olszewski D.P.M. M.A. completed both her undergraduate and Masters degree at Drake University. She received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Dr.William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her surgical residency at the prestigious Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. Additionally, she is double board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics.
Dr. Mary has been practicing in the Chicagoland area for over 29 years with extensive experience in all aspects of podiatry, with a specialty in wound and diabetic care. She is also the only doctor in the Midwest who utilizes a unique method of treating fat pad loss with injected sub-dermal fillers to help patients walk more comfortably.
