He is also board qualified in Foot and Ankle surgery by the ABMSP. He is an active member of the American Society of Podiatric Surgery and American Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Birau was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and grew up in a rural part of North Carolina. He is married and has 3 boys and is active in his community. He enjoys spending time with his family, grilling, fishing, college sports, and exploring DFW.

A Texas native, Dr. Arrington received his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University before attending the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where he received his degree in podiatric medicine. During this time, he also worked at the Veterans Hospital in Cleveland and Brecksville, Ohio. In 2003, Dr. Arrington completed his podiatric medicine and surgical residency in Dallas, Texas, and went on to start a private practice with Dr. Robert Young in Mesquite, Texas.
Dr. Arrington is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, a Diplomate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a Diplomate with the American Board of Physician Specialties.
