Matthew Hausenfluke, DPM, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon at North Texas Foot & Ankle, which has locations in Dallas and Garland, Texas.

Prior to founding North Texas Foot & Ankle, Dr. Hausenfluke spent several years practicing surgical foot and ankle reconstruction at the Foot and Ankle Institute at Monrovia, California, where he participated in the BAJA Project for Crippled Children, spending two years, off and on, serving children in clinics in and around the Mexicali, Mexico, area. During that period, Dr. Hausenfluke spent almost every weekend treating pediatric limb deformities with conservative care and surgical reconstruction. “I got to know the children so well,” comments Hausenfluke, “I could recognize their cries from another room. They were very special to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed my work there. There’s nothing like healing children.”

Dr. Hausenfluke also dedicated a great deal of time to third-world pediatric intervention through “Operation Footprint,” sponsored by the Rotary Club in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, where he volunteered his skills in the treatment of pediatric congenital limb deformities.

In January of 2005, Dr. Hausenfluke joined a medical team based out of Baylor hospital of Garland. The surgical mission performed 53 surgical procedures at the Predisan mission in Catacamas, Honduras.             

From 2005-2007, Dr. Hausenfluke led a medical team along with E3 ministries to the Amazon basin in South America. The team spent seven days going from river village to river village, establishing daily clinics to care for the needs of the Brazillian natives.  “I grew a new respect for those who live off the land, and I truly admire the people of the Amazon Basin.” 

After graduating from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in biomedical science, Dr. Hausenfluke attended Des Moines University in Iowa, where he earned his doctorate in podiatry. He then began his residency at the Veteran’s Administration and Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas. There he mastered his skills in the treatment of diabetic limb salvage and diabetes-associated ailments. Dr. Hausenfluke has said, “It is my sincerest desire to help heal my patients with as little discomfort and inconvenience as possible.”

Dr. Sheth grew up in Houston. He received his undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences from Texas A&M University in College Station. At Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, Dr. Sheth graduated in the top ten of his class to earn his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. To further his knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle problems, he completed a three year clinical and surgical residency at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Texas.

Dr. Ramirez is a long-time resident of the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. He attended high school in Grapevine, Texas. After high school, Dr. Ramirez obtained his undergraduate degree in kinesiology from the University of Texas at Arlington. He received his doctorate from Kent State University, College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland. To further his training, Dr. Ramirez completed a comprehensive residency at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Texas. A native of Kansas City, Kansas, Dr. Mohiuddin aka “Dr. Mo” completed his undergraduate training at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. He then attended the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where he graduated with honors as part of the Pi Delta National Podiatric Honor society. Dr. Mo then relocated to Texas where he completed his residency training at St. Joseph Medical Center in Houston.

Professionally, Dr. Mo is comprehensively trained in all aspects of podiatry, both surgical and conservative. His approach towards patient care involves incorporating the whole picture, outside of just their feet. When evaluating a patient, he considers their lifestyle, their social and familial environment, their job, other doctors involved in their care, etc. Dr. Mo feels that if you consider and address the whole patient, it makes diagnosing, treating and preventing problems much more practical and sustainable. Dr. Christian Morrison was raised in northern Idaho, and earned his bachelor of sciences degree with an emphasis in microbiology from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Morrison served as chief resident in the Department of Surgery's devision of Podiatric Surgery at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, TX, and has been published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Morrison is a member of Texas Podiatric Medical Association as well as the American Podiatric Medical Association and Minimally Invasive Foot & Ankle Society (MIFAS). Dr. Morrison is married with two doodles, and his family is very active in community/religious charity endeavors. Dr. Asif Khan was raised in the metro Detroit area, and earned his bachelor degree from the University of Michigan, Dearborn. He then went on to earn his doctorate in podiatric medicine and surgery from California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA. Dr. Khan retuned to Michigan to complete his residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Beaumont Health, where he served as Chief Resident his final year of training. He then went on to complete fellowship, also at Beaumont Health, in Diabetic Limb Salvage and Wound Care. Dr. Khan is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM). He also holds the Certificate of Added Qualification in Amputation Prevention and Wound Care issued by the ABPM. Dr. Khan's research has been published in multiple medical journals . Jinal Mehta, DPM, of Premier Foot & Ankle provides empathetic care to children, adults and seniors with foot and ankle disorders at our Frisco location. She is well versed in all areas of podiatric care including but not limited to preventive care, trauma, regenerative medicine, diabetic limb salvage and elective foot reconstruction. She is particularly passionate about peripheral arterial disease (PAD), diabetic limb salvage and wound care. She believes in empowering her patients by educating them about their condition and offering both conservative as well as surgical treatment options to help support them through recovery.

Dr. Mehta completed her undergraduate training at the University of Missouri, Kansas City where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and minored in chemistry. She then completed her medical training at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago where she initiated the Save A Leg, Save A Life Chapter as part of a National wound care organization. During her time in school, Dr. Mehta traveled for a medical mission as part of the Liga International Flying Doctors of Mercy and served those in need in the rural area of Sinaloa, Mexico. Dr. Mehta then went on to an extensive three year reconstructive forefoot, rearfoot and ankle surgical residency training at the prestigious Long Island Jewish Medical Center, NY & the North Shore (Northwell) University Hospital, Manhasset, NY.

After completing her training, she joined a private practice in Long Island, NY and continued to teach residents at both the hospitals. She also served on the Nassau County Podiatry Association’s young members committee during her time in New York. Since moving to Texas with her family, Dr. Mehta has previously served the Arlington & Mansfield communities including taking emergency calls at multiple area hospitals. She has also been a guest speaker on “Doc Talk Live” Radio Show, DFW Texas - "Foot Pain & Wound Care". Dr. Mehta is a Board-certified physician by American Board of Podiatric Medicine who offers well rounded care.
