Dr. Megan Herring is a central Arkansas native and completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR. She went on to attend Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL where she received her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. Following graduation, she completed her foot and ankle surgical residency training at Christus Oschner St. Patrick’s Hospital and Center for Orthopedics in Lake Charles, LA emphasizing sports medicine, trauma, surgical reconstruction, and limb salvage. As a resident, Dr. Herring served as one of the team resident physicians at McNeese State University. Dr. Herring is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in both foot surgery and reconstructive rear foot surgery. She is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and American Podiatric Medical Association.

-stitches/pins remain for two weeks (depending)
-expect pain/stiffness once pins are removed
