Mathew Yagudayev, DPM, is a highly skilled foot and ankle surgeon who has advanced training in innovative treatment solutions and minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Yagudayev cares for patients at Hamilton Foot and Ankle Associates, located in Upper East Side Manhattan and Bay Ridge of Brooklyn, New York.
For his undergraduate studies, Dr. Yagudayev attended Queens College, City University of New York in Flushing, where he graduated magna cum laude. He was then accepted into graduate school and earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City. Dr. Yagudayev graduated as valedictorian of his class.
After graduation, Dr. Yagudayev went through a comprehensive foot and ankle surgical residency at the Northwell Health Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. During his residency, Dr. Yagudayev received extensive training in elective surgeries of the foot and ankle, including cosmetic surgery. He is board qualified in foot and ankle surgery through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Yagudayev specializes in conservative management of foot and ankle pathology with the use of custom foot orthosis. He also has special interests in pediatric pathology of the foot and ankle, in addition to sports medicine, wound care, and trauma.

After earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the prestigious New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City, Dr. Spielfogel went through rigorous patient care training. He completed a competitive foot and ankle surgical residency program through New York College of Podiatric Medicine affiliated hospitals.
Dr. Spielfogel went on to become board certified in foot surgery through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He holds a certification in extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) for noninvasive treatment of soft tissue injuries. Additionally, Dr. Spielfogel maintains professional memberships with the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the New York State Podiatric Medical Association.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Spielfogel serves as the chief of podiatry in the department of orthopaedic surgery, as well as the director of the podiatric medicine and surgery residency program, at Northwell Health Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. He is even the vice president of The Foundation for Podiatric Medicine, an educational, scientific, and research branch of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Spielfogel also co-chairs the New York State Podiatric Medical Association’s clinical conference in New York City. This conference provides continuing foot and ankle medical education to over 1,000 podiatrists annually.
