Robert Sheffey, DPM, is a highly experienced podiatrist at Chicagoland Foot and Ankle, serving patients at the practice locations in the Mount Greenwood and Portage Park areas of Chicago, as well as Orland Park and New Lenox, Illinois.

A native Ohioan, Dr. Sheffey attended Ohio State University in Columbus for his undergraduate degree. He then attended the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, where he earned his medical degree. He completed a three-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency at the NCVA/St. Joseph’s Hospital, also in Chicago. His training focused on both forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive procedures, along with basic podiatric medicine.

Dr. Sheffey specializes in the treatment of conditions affecting the feet and ankles. He believes that healthy feet play an important role in a healthy body and works hard to help his patients live a life free of pain and discomfort caused by foot and ankle disorders.

Pulin Joshi, DPM, is a highly trained podiatrist at Chicagoland Foot and Ankle, with locations in Orland Park and New Lenox, Illinois. Podiatrist Aamir Mahmood, DPM, created Momentum Foot & Ankle Clinic to get to know people on a personal level and provide them with the space they need to receive the best podiatric care. At the offices in Michigan City and Chesterton, Indiana, and Lombard, Illinois, Dr. Mahmood is excited to be a part of the community, and wants his patients to feel at home. Dr. Mahmood is a born and bred Chicago native who grew up knowing all too well the importance of podiatric health. He was born with pes planus (flat feet) and spent his childhood wearing orthotics, braces, and dealing with sporadic pain due to rigorous activity. These experiences allowed him to realize very early on that he wanted to pursue a career in medicine. 

After completing his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola University of Chicago, Dr. Mahmood decided to take a year to complete a Masters in Public Health from Benedictine University to equip him with a better understanding of a different viewpoint of medicine. From here, he completed his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly known as Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine). He then completed a three-year surgical residency at Jesse Brown VA in Chicago, specializing in foot and ankle surgery where he served as chief resident. During his residency, he presented peer-reviewed abstracts at multiple surgical and wound care conferences. His research won an award at the Symposium for Advanced Wound Care in 2018.

Timothy Kruse, DPM, is a highly skilled podiatrist serving patients at Northside Foot & Ankle PC in River North, Chicago, and Evanston, Illinois. A podiatrist for over a decade, he provides a one-on-one, open, and communicative experience for every patient at his practice. 

Dr. Kruse was born with clubbed feet and had to undergo numerous surgeries as a child. Because he spent so much time surrounded by healthcare providers, he had a unique window into podiatric medicine from a young age. Those experiences sparked his interest in medicine.

In 2001, Dr. Kruse earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. He then began a competitive three-year surgical residency. During his training, Dr. Kruse consulted nervous parents worried about the surgeries their children needed. Easing their fears and assuring them that their children could lead full lives after surgery for clubbed feet, like he did, was an incredible experience. 

Dr. Kruse emphasizes education. He takes the time to explain the treatment process to his patients so they have the tools and knowledge to take charge of their own health moving forward.
