Dr. Cameron was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, where he attended and graduated from Red Mountain High School. As a student, Dr. Cameron played football and lacrosse. During his senior year, he tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and although the injury kept him sidelined, it triggered his interest in medicine.
Following high school, Dr. Cameron went on a two-year service mission to Venezuela and became fluent in Spanish. After returning to America, he enrolled at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, earning his undergraduate degree in biochemistry. Dr. Cameron subsequently moved to Miami and enrolled at Barry University’s School of Podiatric Medicine. There, he excelled in the program and earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine.
After graduation, Dr. Cameron completed a surgical residency at the Florida Hospital East Orlando residency program. During this time, he received extensive training and experience in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, arthroscopy, foot and ankle trauma, and sports medicine. He also trained in using implants and fusion surgery to treat end-stage arthritis.
At the Foot and Ankle Institute of Colorado, Dr. Cameron loves helping ease his patient’s pain, allowing them to participate in their favorite activities. He offers a variety of safe, effective treatments that improve mobility, ease inflammation, and encourage healthier lifestyles.
Outside of the office, Dr. Cameron enjoys spending time with his wife, Melissa and two children, Stetson and Millie. He loves skiing and snowboarding, wake-boarding, golfing, and participating in his son's athletics.

Dr. Hinderland spent his childhood in several states, including Arizona, California, and Pennsylvania. He began his professional pursuits at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
He subsequently enrolled at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, where he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Castle Rock, Colorado.
Dr. Cramer completed her bachelor of science in Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she fought on the world collegiate taekwondo team and worked as a student athletic trainer for the NCAA championship women’s soccer team. Her experience competing, coaching, and working in the athletic training room helped cultivate her passion for sports medicine.
She earned a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California and completed a comprehensive foot and ankle surgical residency in Denver at Highlands-Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center. In her final year, she served as chief resident and volunteered her services on a medical mission trip to Yantalo, Peru, with the non-profit organization Essential Strides.
Although she grew up in Southern California, Dr. Cramer has spent the last several years in Denver, Colorado, where she completed her surgical residency training. Her love of the Rocky Mountains and winter sports has made Colorado an easy place to call home. She enjoys spending time outdoors snowboarding, hiking, and traveling, as well as cooking and spending time with her friends and family.

At the end of 2020, I retired from the clinical practice of podiatry.
After graduating for the University of Michigan in 1978 I began my training at the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in Downtown Chicago. I knew even then that I wanted to live in Colorado. I can recall the drive from Chicago to Denver on June 30, 1982 to begin my residency and career in podiatric medicine. Since then, I have been involved in every aspect of the profession from state board member, medical legal expert, national residency site visit reviewer, board certification proctor, surgery teacher and lecturer, and residency director for the Presbyterian/St. Lukes surgical residency program in Denver. I am proud to have helped train over ninety-five residents become excellent doctors and surgeons.
Ralph Waldo Emerson said that it’s “not the destination, it’s the journey” that counts in one’s life. It’s been a great journey, and now that I have reached a destination in my career, I am ready for the next journey.
Colorado is such a wonderful place to live and raise a family. I plan to continue skiing, golfing, hiking and camping, raising a puppy, gardening, playing music, and especially spending time with my new grandchildren. And of course, enjoying the tranquility that abounds in this great place. I have worked with many fine people these past thirty-eight years, none finer that Drs. Herzog and Carrington. Dr. Emily Opp is a surgically trained foot and ankle specialist who is passionate about helping people optimize their health by treating all conditions of the lower extremity. Her number one priority is to address her patients’ conditions through a collaborative, evidence-based approach, where all conservative options are implemented prior to invasive modalities. Patient education is extremely important to Dr. Opp, and she prides herself in first educating her patients on current medical literature to then guide any decisions on treatment. Dr. Opp is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is accomplished in both forefoot and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery. Dr. Opp has a diverse interest in all aspects of foot and ankle health, ranging from preventative care to ingrown toenails to major reconstructive surgery.
