Dr. Brian J. Hiapo Jr, DPM, AACFAS, DABPM, is an experienced Board Certified Podiatrist and the co-founder of Arizona Foot and Ankle Medical Center in Laveen, Arizona. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Hiapo can communicate thoroughly with patients of varying backgrounds and needs. He frequently treats patients with heel pain, ingrown nails, bunions, hammertoes, ulcerations, and all other foot and ankle conditions that lead to pain and discomfort.
Dr. Hiapo began his education at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he was also an accomplished member of the nationally-ranked men's volleyball team. It is because of his passion for all things sports-related that he chose to become a specialist in foot and ankle sports-related injuries and injury prevention. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Latin American studies before attending Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida, for his medical training.
After graduating with his medical degree, he returned home to Arizona for a rigorous residency in podiatric surgery at Southern Arizona VA Health Care System in Tucson, Arizona. There, he was named chief resident and was in charge of 11 of his podiatric surgeon peers.
In addition to a successful three-year residency where he received training alongside multiple nationally recognized specialists, Dr. Hiapo published his own research in his field. He brings this knowledge to Arizona Foot and Ankle Medical Center and keeps up with all other current research and modern treatments.
Dr. Hiapo brings his high level of dedication and attention to detail to Arizona Foot and Ankle Medical Center. He works tirelessly to ensure that each of his patients feels comfortable and cared about throughout their treatment.
When not in the office, Dr. Hiapo enjoys spending time with his wife, three sons and daughter, golfing, playing volleyball, and spending time with family and friends.
Kyle Durfey, DPM, D.ABFAS, FACFAS, DABPM, is an experienced Double Board Certified Podiatrist and co-founder of Arizona Foot and Ankle Medical Center in Chandler and Laveen, Arizona. He has an in-depth educational background in foot and ankle injuries, allowing him to comprehensively treat patients for bunions, hammertoes, warts, infections, fractures, arthritis, and pain and injuries of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Durfey studied at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida. There, he spent four years specializing in foot and ankle surgery.
He graduated with his medical degree in 2016 and moved to Tucson, Arizona, for his three-year surgical residency at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System. During his residency, his knowledge and dedication were quickly recognized, and he became chief resident.
Dr. Durfey takes extra time to keep up-to-date on current medical research in his field in order to offer the latest and most effective treatments to his patients. He has authored and co-authored in-depth research projects and strives to follow evidence-based medicine. Dr. Durfey has treated thousands of patients in both clinical and surgical settings.
During Dr. Durfey’s residency, he had the opportunity to work alongside orthopedic surgeons, internal medicine specialists, and plastic surgeons. He brings the knowledge from these and other peers to Arizona Foot and Ankle Medical Center, implementing a full-body approach to treating conditions of the foot and ankle.
When Dr. Durfey is not busy working, he enjoys time at home with his beautiful wife and four children. He is an avid sports fan and loves to watch and play all sports.
Chris Suykerbuyk, DPM, is a skilled podiatrist practicing at AZ Choice Foot and Ankle, located in Gilbert, Arizona. He has been caring for families and individuals in the Valley for over fifteen years.
Dr. Suykerbuyk received his undergraduate degree in biology from Hillsdale College in Michigan and his medical degree from The Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Illinois. He completed a residency in forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery at the Carl T. Hayden VA in Phoenix, Arizona, and began practicing in Gilbert shortly thereafter.
Dr. Suykerbuyk maintains the highest levels of accreditation and pursues ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in the medical field. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is board certified in foot surgery. Kelvin S. Crezee DPM, FACFAS, of Ahwatukee Foot & Ankle Center in Phoenix and Maricopa, Arizona, is double board-certified in surgery and medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University and the University of California at Berkeley. He then moved on to complete medical school in San Francisco with honors followed by a highly prestigious, multi-year surgical residency program near Detroit at Kern Hospital for Specialty Foot and Ankle Surgery. His training included trauma and reconstructive surgery in adult and pediatrics.
In addition, Dr. Crezee has specialty training in diabetes and sports medicine. Continuing with his academic endeavors, Dr. Crezee has served as an Associated Clinical professor at several medical schools and helped found the Carl T. Hayden Veterans Administration Podiatric Surgical Residency Program, the largest Foot and Ankle residency training program in Arizona where he continues to train young surgeons. Dr. Crezee has been serving our veterans for over 25 years.
Dr. Crezee began private practice in 1989 and is currently accepting new patients. When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Crezee enjoys time with his wife, four children, and five grandchildren. Dr. Crezee’s hobbies include 4-wheeling, fishing, and flying.
Jordan Richardson, DPM of Ahwatukee Foot & Ankle Center in Phoenix and Maricopa, Arizona received his bachelor’s degree at Arizona State University and his doctorate from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Podiatric Medicine in Pomona, California.
Dr. Richardson was born and raised in Arizona and loves the desert. He completed a three-year podiatric and surgical residency with reconstructive rearfoot and ankle certification at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. During residency training, he spent time training with top-tier surgeons and physicians. Training all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery including reconstructive diabetic limb salvage, foot and ankle trauma, and sports medicine. He is well trained in both conservative and surgical approaches to podiatric care and believes in putting his patient’s needs first.
Prior to a career in medicine, Dr. Richardson acquired many skills from careers as a veterinary technician, police aide, and home automation. However, he found his passion in podiatry and caring for patients. Outside of work, he can be found spending time with his wife and five children. He also enjoys working on cars, cooking, playing guitar, and outdoor recreation.
C. Jon Beecroft, DPM, of Ahwatukee Foot & Ankle Center in Phoenix and Maricopa, Arizona, did a three-year surgical residency and has more than 15 years experience in surgery and medicine. He is qualified to treat orthopedic, dermatological, diabetic, trauma, reconstruction and any medical problems with the foot and ankle.
He started with Ahwatukee Foot and Ankle in 2005 and with Maricopa Foot and Ankle office in 2008. He has office hours in both Ahwatukee and Maricopa.
Before starting with Ahwatukee and Maricopa Foot and Ankle offices, Dr. Beecroft attended Des Moines University, Osteopathic Medical Center College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 2002. He then completed his Carl T. Hayden VAMC Podiatric Surgical Residency in 2005. Since that time, he enjoys giving back and teaching resident doctors medicine and surgical techniques.
Dr. Beecroft is fluent in both English and Spanish. When not caring for patients in the office or performing foot and ankle surgeries, Dr. Beecroft enjoys reading and writing and especially spending time with his wife Aimee.
