I’ve always loved working with my hands. As a surgeon, I find joy in combining that interest with my medical knowledge to help people every day. I’m passionate about perfecting the details in every surgery I do, so ophthalmic facial plastic surgery is the perfect field for me. Surgery on the face and especially the eye area requires an incredibly meticulous attention to detail that I’ve honed over the last two and a half decades.
After completing a two-year fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery and facial trauma at Indiana University, I taught at specialist hospitals in Saudi Arabia for three years. There, I gained a much greater breadth of experience in the fine details of facial and eye surgery.
I now have patients come to me from all over the country—and even the world—because they want a specialist who can make their face and eyes look youthful and beautiful while ensuring that these delicate organs are not harmed. As a leader in the field, I'm proud to have been a pioneer in the cosmetic application of Botox® injections and cosmetic fillers such as Juvéderm®. I have over 28 years of experience in facial Botox injection and over 20 years of cosmetic filler injection.
My family and I moved to Arizona in 1996, and we quickly fell in love with the sunshine and desert. My wife is also a trained physician, works with me, and over the past 20 years, we’ve built a practice where everyone feels like family. We make a plan for every patient that achieves their goals, fits their unique anatomy, and meets their specific medical needs. Our patients rest assured that if they ever have any questions or issues, all they need to do is pick up the phone and we will always take care of them.
Having grown up in Hawaii, Dr. Heinz has always loved adventure. Throughout the years, some of his passions were surfing, windsurfing, sailing, mountaineering, and mountain biking. While living in the Middle East, he led many four-wheel drive expeditions to the remote areas of Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Yemen. Presently, he enjoys going mountain biking out in the desert with his seven children, and he keeps 17 bikes in his garage for all the kids and in-laws to go riding with him. He's been a surfer and paddle boarder for his entire life, since his childhood days in Hawaii. He still paddleboards regularly, participating in lots of "downwind" ocean races and enjoying paddle boarding on lakes and rivers around Phoenix.
After completing general surgery training in her hometown of Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Jennifer Boll completed extensive training in plastic surgery at the world renowned Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. She strives to bring you the most up to date technology and procedures. She approaches all patients and their concerns with compassion, understanding, and a feminine touch.
Dr. Gal is a highly trained, double-boarded, plastic surgeon, gifted with exceptional surgical skills, a keen aesthetic eye and meticulous attention to detail. Most importantly, she is a physician who cares deeply about her patients and is passionate about patient education, compassionate and personalized patient care.
She understands that there are different health and safety concerns that need to be taken into account with different individuals, making a point to take into account her patient’s health and safety first. Taking the time to listen to her patients allows her to understand their individual needs and goals leading to choosing those procedures that will meet their needs and surpass their expectations.
She grew up in south Florida where she completed the majority of her medical training prior to plastic surgery. She earned her MD degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa. Motivated by her love for surgery, she went on to train in general surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, ultimately becoming Board Certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
Drawn by her artistic interests to plastic surgery, she continued her surgical training in this specialty at the renowned University of California in Davis Medical Center. Upon completion of her plastic surgery residency, she enhanced her skills further by undertaking an accredited aesthetic plastic surgery fellowship, one that focused on cosmetic procedures of the face, breast and body. Once she completed her fellowship training, she went on to attain her second board certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
"I was born in Israel and moved to the States with my parents when I was seven years old. My parents were following the “American dream” and always told me that I could achieve whatever I wanted as long as I worked hard for it. My journey led me to plastic surgery so I could make a difference is people’s lives by bringing out their inner beauty. Understanding my patient’s aesthetic goals allows me to help build their confidence and empower them to define their own success and become their best selves. So, cheers to your beauty journey!"
Dr. Gal loves the creative nature of her work that instills confidence and brings joy to her patients. She strives to provide natural-looking results. Taking the time to get to know each one of her patients, their concerns, the context within which they are seeking surgery, she can custom tailor results that meet or exceed her patients’ expectations ensuring they feel better about themselves after their procedure.
