Mike Reing was born and raised here in Northern Virginia. He graduated from Marymount University in 2001 and has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics since. Mike was certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2003 by the American Physical Therapy Association. Prior to Co-founding Advantage, he was a clinic and group director for a national outpatient physical therapy provider for four years. He specializes in orthopedics with areas of sub-specialization in adult and pediatric oncology rehabilitation, sports rehab programs, cervicogenic headaches, and orthopedic pediatrics. He is affiliated with the Children’s National Medical Center where he is part of the clinical team in both the Late Effects Clinic and the Neuro-Oncology Clinic.
He has presented lectures in a number of his specialty areas to a variety of both physician and patient groups including: control of Chronic Tension Headaches in the pediatric population at “Pediatrics for the Practitioner”, the role of Physical Therapy in lower and upper extremity injuries to the Fairfax Hospital Orthopedic Residents, and the role of exercise and fitness in preventing and controlling late effects at the Life with Cancer Survivorship Conference.
His treatment philosophy involves a combination of manual therapy, patient-specific therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education and a strong patient education focus. The focus of all of his rehabilitation programs is to optimize his patient’s functional capabilities and expedite their return to full, independent status.
Mike played soccer at Mary Washington College and now enjoys cheering on his son’s and daughter’s soccer and basketball teams. He along with his wife and kids also enjoy a variety of other outdoor and athletic activities.

Stephanie Clop, MD, is a board-certified physiatrist focusing on physical medicine and rehabilitation at Integrated Spine and Pain Services in Falls Church and Alexandria, Virginia. Dr. Clop dedicates her practice to state-of-the-art treatments of acute and chronic pain.
Dr. Clop graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Exercise Physiology and a minor in biology and chemistry at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia. She completed her Doctor of Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia.
She completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency and an internship in trauma surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, internal medicine, and geriatrics at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Clop finished another physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at San Juan Veterans Medical Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She then worked as an emergency room physician at Southwest Medical Associates in Rockport, Texas.
Dr. Clop was a physiatrist at several practices, including Physical Therapy Center in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico, Ashtar Physical Therapy Center in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, and Matilde Brenes Hospital in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
She worked at Reston Surgical Center in Reston, Virginia, and currently has consulting privileges at Reston Hospital. After practicing as a physiatrist at Town Center Orthopedics in Reston, Virginia, Dr. Clop joined National Spine & Pain Centers in Aldie, Virginia.
She was honored as a NorthernVirginia top doctor, a Washingtonian best doctor from 2012 to 2017, and received a Patient's Choice Award. Dr. Clop is a diplomat of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Academy of Pain Medicine.

Patience Nduka is a well-experienced Doctor of Physical Therapy who is dedicated to patient care at the Bowie and Laurel locations of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center. She started her physical therapy career in Nigeria, where she earned her Master’s in physical therapy, from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. After completing her internship program, Dr. Nduka practiced physical therapy for a few years in Nigeria, where she gained extensive experience in various settings including general orthopedics, and women’s health through clinical rotation.
In the United States of America, Dr. Nduka earned her doctorate in physical therapy at Dominican University, New York. She is also certified in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy with Ola Grimsby Institute and Women’s Health.
Dr. Nduka utilizes a unique approach that combines soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, and scientific therapeutic exercise progression to identify and solve patients’ problems from the root. Driven by passion and compassion for over 15 years, Dr. Nduka is privileged to help people who suffer from pain, dysfunction, injury, and disability return to optimal function and improved quality of life.

Sohaila Mosaddegh, DPT, is a doctor of physical therapy serving patients at Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center’s locations in Olney and Laurel, Maryland.
Dr. Mosaddegh earned a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from Howard University. She received her doctoral degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Her research focus was on the effectiveness of physical therapy diagnoses of lumbar disease versus MRI. Dr. Mosaddegh has worked in the orthopedic and sports medicine field for more than 20 years.
She offers patients the most advanced physical therapy for optimizing movement, function, and health. She is guided by integrity, life-long learning, and a commitment to her patients’ health. Dr. Mosaddegh is dedicated to using evidence-based physical therapy throughout the continuum of care to improve quality of life.

T Gordon Cort, PT, DPT, is an accomplished and experienced Howard University-trained physical therapist. He is the office manager at Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center’s Greenbelt, Maryland, location.
Dr. Cort has a wealth of experience in orthopedic physical therapy and pain management. He originally graduated from Howard University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy and returned to his alma mater to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Dr. Cort specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of persons with myofascial pain syndrome, chronic pain syndrome, and other myofascial-related disorders. He has also specialized in industrial rehabilitation. Over the years, he has brought his diagnostic and treatment skills to patients with chronic headaches/migraines of a soft tissue/myofascial origin and has impacted the lives of many headache sufferers.
He studied dry needling techniques under the tutelage of Dr. Jan Dammerholt and applied these techniques in the treatment of patients with chronic pain, especially in the injured worker population. Dr. Court has combined his back-to-work program (work hardening) with dry needling and other pain management techniques to resolve many workman’s compensation cases and successfully assist injured workers to return to work full duty.
Dr. Cort currently treats a significant number of injured workers, taking them from the point of injury to a successful return to work. He has and continues to treat patients with headaches and other orthopedic injuries successfully and finds pleasure in bringing relief to his patients.
Shangyuan Wang, DPT, is a doctor of physical therapy and an office manager at the Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center location in Riverdale, Maryland.
Dr. Wang specializes in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with a wide range of physical disabilities, movement dysfunctions, and impairments. He graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science in exercise science. Dr. Wang furthered his education at Howard University, and he received his doctorate in physical therapy in 2016.
He has experience in skilled nursing facilities and inpatient rehab settings. Dr. Wang hopes to use his clinical skills to help his patients at Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center’s Riverdale, Maryland, location.

Emilia Kubera-Shelton is a well-experienced Doctor of Physical Therapy with a passion for outpatient care at the Bowie and Laurel locations of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center. She started her career at UNLV in Las Vegas, Nevada, obtaining a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
Emilia has treated patients ages 5 to 95, utilizing the McKenzie Method and her advanced manual therapy skills to do so. She has a special interest in impairments of the foot, ankle, spine, and shoulders and has provided care for patients with a multitude of diagnoses including neurological, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and respiratory conditions. Her expertise also includes a focus on orthopedic conditions, debility, rehabilitation after surgeries as well as balance disorders, fall prevention, and chronic conditions.
Outside of treating patients, Emilia loves teaching students and is a certified clinical instructor. She really loves her job and is looking forward to making long-lasting relationships with patients as well.
Jason Morrell, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, and Clinical Director for Results Physical Therapy, is a highly experienced physical therapist with over two decades of experience of relieving pain and helping his patients back on their feet. His skillful and personalized treatment help build a lasting relationship with all his patients at the Results Physical Therapy center.
Dr. Morrell’s career as a physical therapist began soon after he earned his physical therapist assistant degree from Northern Virginia Community College in Annandale, Virginia. Advancing his education further, he completed his doctoral degree in physical therapy from Neumann University, Aston, Pennsylvania. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Shenandoah University, Winchester, Virginia.
Dr. Morrell is passionate about putting the smile back on his patients’ faces by relieving pain and restoring their mobility. He stays up-to-date on the newest therapies and offers Trigger Point Dry Needling to help his patients get relief from muscular tension and spasms.
He also has extensive experience with outpatient orthopedics and manual therapy. Dr. Morrell holds strength and conditioning certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. To add to his skill sets, he recently completed an Orthopedic Specialist certification.

Randy O’Brien, PT, DPT, is one of the owners of Results Physical Therapy, located in both Gainesville and Fairfax, Virginia, and has been serving the needs of patients in Northern Virginia for 22 years. He has been in private practice for over 14 years.
Dr. O’Brien completed his Bachelor Degree in Health Science and a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He earned his Clinical Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Randy has completed numerous continuing education courses with a focus on the use of manual therapy techniques coupled with a movement-based approach to treat orthopedic conditions. He has certifications in the management of Temporomandibular Dysfunction and is a Certified Functional Strength and Conditioning Specialist. His future plans are to apply for a Fellowship in Manual Physical Therapy and to begin teaching.
Dr. O’Brien has a special interest in the treatment of patients with Head/neck and craniofacial pain. He is dedicated to patient education and empowerment through movement to avoid re-injury and to set up patients for a lifetime of fitness, health, and wellness.
