Dr. Maitreyi Shukla, PT, DPT, MS, Board-Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist has over 10 years of experience. She finished her undergraduate studies in India and since has unending dedication towards patient care while working in various clinical settings with a focus on evidence-based care. She came to the USA to pursue her Masters in Rehabilitation Sciences from the prestigious University of Pittsburgh with a concentration in orthopedic rehabilitation. Since her graduation, she has worked in an outpatient setting with an emphasis on hands-on care while helping complex patients suffering from a myriad of problems achieve their goals. She simultaneously has pursued her passion for learning by achieving her DPT as well as on keeping her education current while pursuing various programs including taping, PNF, and manual therapy. She most recently was named as a board-certified clinical specialist in geriatrics by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialities (ABPTS) of American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Stelios Liotopoulos, PTA joined Reddy Care Physical Therapy in December of 2008, however, he began practicing in 1994. Stelios enjoys his career and his ability to interact with his patients. Stelios moved to the United States in 1989 when he was 22 years old and began working for his uncle in the fur import and export business. While working there, he attended classes to learn English. In his free time, he played soccer as it was a passion of his since he was young. Stelios played on a semi-professional team in both Greece and the US, and his passion for sports spurred his interest in physical education and exercise physiology which he studied at Queens College. Over time, he because more familiar with physical therapy as a profession and later switched majors to pursue his degree as a physical therapy assistant from LaGuardia Community College. Over the last 25 years, he has been practicing physical therapy. Stelios has also taken many continuing education courses that involve manual techniques.
