In 2015, Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sports Science from Texas State University (TXST) in San Marcos, Texas. TXST is a public research university and is the 5th largest university in Texas. It offers a broad range of undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees.
After moving back to Dallas, Matt worked in outpatient orthopaedic and sports medicine for several years. His passion for these fields drove him to pursue the next career step, and he attended Concorde Career College.
Matt received his license as a physical therapist assistant (PTA) in 2021. At present, he is delighted to be working with Orthopaedic Specialists of Dallas, helping patients and furthering his knowledge.
When Matt isn’t assisting physical therapists and caring for patients, he also enjoys hiking, camping, and working out.
Dennis DeLeon is a passionate and devoted physical therapist assistant (PTA) at Orthopaedic Specialists of Dallas, with multiple offices conveniently located in Rockwall, Wylie, Forney, and Terrell, Texas.
He was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He relocated to Texas after serving in the United States Air Force (USAF or US Air Force).
Dennis was stationed in Hawaii, North Dakota, Portugal, and Jordan. During his time in the military, Dennis discovered a passion for helping people and wanted to pursue a career that combined this desire to help people with his love for being active.
He received an Associate of Applied Science for Physical Therapist Assistant in 2021 and looks forward to utilizing all he has learned to provide the highest quality patient care.
When not in the clinic, Dennis enjoys lifting heavy weights, watching sports, exploring the great outdoors, and finding the best ramen shops in DFW (Dallas/Fort Worth).

Daniel Kaminski is the Director of Physical Therapy and founder of Rise Physical Therapy. Daniel has been a practicing Physical Therapist in Outpatient settings for over 8 years. In this time he has accumulated experience in care for a wide range of diagnosis including post-operative care, acute orthopedic injury, motor vehicle accident, sports medicine, work related injuries, chronic pain, general weakness, balance issues, and complex neurological and vestibular disorders. Daniel is skilled in performance of joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, cupping, dry needling and taping techniques.
He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Cleveland State University and spent his early career practicing as a Traveling Physical Therapist, allowing him to accumulate experience in a variety of different settings across 7 different states. Throughout his career, Daniel has believed in gaining exposure to different clinical treatment methodologies in order to improve his own patient care across all demographics.
Daniel believes in the importance of communication and empathy to best facilitate relationships with not only patients and their families, but also with co-workers and fellow medical providers. Krystal has 14 years of clinical experience working in outpatient orthopedics setting. She started her career working in occupational medicine working with worker’s compensation patients assisting in facilitating return to work. She moved to Texas in 2012 and transfer to North Texas Orthopedics specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine working under multiple therapists and surgeons. Krystal enjoys working with all types of patients from athletes to occupational medicine. She is able to speak basic conversational Spanish and enjoys the opportunity to work with these patients.
In her free time, Krystal enjoys hiking, yoga, biking, watching dogs, and pickle ball. She was a former professional racquetball player who has had 5 knee surgeries and understands being on the rehab side of things. She is FMS and sportsmetrics certified. Her treatment style incorporates manual therapy, functional exercise, cupping, kinesiotaping, and postural education.
