“Karen is a wonderful therapist. She's personable, knowledgeable and caring. She takes the time to come up with exercises and movements for your body. It's a treat getting individual attention and feeling better each visit. Today we dancercized to salsa music to help me get motivated to exercise at home when I don't want to leave my cozy blanket on the couch!”
In my decade as a physical therapist, I've worked in a variety of orthopedic settings, from a community hospital, to small private practices and large chains in New York and Chicago. The diverse experiences that brought me here help inform my practice.
As a young clinician, I completed a year-long physical therapy orthopedic residency program, which means I approach each session with clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills. I'm passionate about continuing education; in addition to seeking the most current techniques and therapies, I seek out additional skills and certifications.
After the birth of my first son, I started taking a series of classes to help me specialize in pelvic floor physical therapy. I offer a comprehensive set of diagnostic and treatment options to all of my patients.
As someone who has rehabilitated myself through various physical challenges, I understand firsthand that movement is medicine and physical therapy can be a powerful force.
“I have been to other therapists but found Vimmi to have more knowledge about my condition. The exercises are really focused on my condition and saw improvement right away.”
Jaclyn McGovern is a doctor of physical therapy who specializes in the treatment of orthopedic and women’s health conditions. She is passionate in multi-faceted treatment approaches incorporating manual therapy techniques in conjunction with exercise to restore overall function and quality of life.
“Jacyln is a lifesaver! I’ve been suffering for a long time with back and neck pain. She worked with me to drastically reduce it in my first session!
I’m looking forward to working with her more. She taught me some practical exercises to realign my hips on my own and used her magic to release my muscle tension. I highly recommend her!”

“Melissa is a phenomenal therapist. She is very knowledgeable and challenges my son the right amount. She takes extra time to answer my questions and coordinate care with his school and other providers. We are so thankful for her!”
“Katie is absolutely wonderful. She is gifted in her work. I was hesitant to work with her remotely, but she is just as effective remotely as in person. I have done both. Each session is uniquely tailored for what I need in my life. She has cleared me of energetic burdens, aligned my chakras, reinforced my hara (connection to earth), etc. Of course she will tell you we did it together, and there is truth in that. She helps me feel better able to cope, lighter, and connected to my highest self.”
