Dr. Whitaker graduated from the University of St. Augustine with his doctorate in physical therapy in 2015, where he was recognized for Excellence in Manual Therapy. He worked as a personal fitness trainer for several years before going on to pursue a career in physical therapy. His passion for health and fitness and expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation drive his practice of physical therapy. He is dedicated to providing direct and individualized care to his patient’s with orthopedic, neurologic, and performance related dysfunctions.
Dr. Whitaker grew in Mammoth Lakes, CA, which helped to shape his love of the outdoors. Beyond the clinic he spends his time surfing, weight training, playing tennis, and trying to keep up with his daughters Dilynn and Wesleigh.
Dr. Vavala graduated from the University of St. Augustine in San Marcos, CA with her doctorate in physical therapy. She graduated with high honors and was recognized for Excellence in Manual Therapy. Prior to becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy, she has experience working pro bono for pediatrics, coaching middle school and high school volleyball, and personal training.
Dr. Vavala was raised in Tucson, AZ. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Nutritional Sciences with Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arizona where she played competitive indoor volleyball through her senior year of college. Her experience as an athlete instilled an appreciation for the power of movement and the importance of maintaining peak physical condition as well as the challenges involved in the rehabilitative process. She continues to enjoy staying active in a variety of ways including weightlifting, running, and pickleball.
Dr. VanWagoner graduated from the University of St. Augustine with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy where she was awarded the Scholastic Achievement Award for the highest GPA in her class. Growing up with a passion for Track & Field, she combines her athletic background with professional expertise to empower others on their journey to recovery and vitality.
Dr. VanWagoner grew up in Ventura, CA and is a proud University of Oregon alum (Go Ducks!) receiving a bachelor of science in human physiology. Outside the clinic, she finds joy in spending time outdoors, trying new restaurants, and cherishing time with her wiener dog, Winnie.
Dr. Osborn graduated from University of St. Augustine with her doctorate in physical therapy in San Marcos, CA. Prior to becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy, she worked as an employment specialist for adults with disabilities and a physical therapy aide and worked with various populations. She has completed the APTA Level 1 Pelvic Health course and will be working towards completing level 2 in the near future.
Dr. Osborn was born and raised just north of Seattle in Everett, WA. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA in 2016.
In her free time you can find her reading at the beach, doing yoga, hiking, going to concerts, or spending time with her friends.
