Jennifer Barstrom, DPT is a phenomenal physical therapist who is able to work with people of all ages & diagnoses. She is able to navigate the complexities of all medical diagnoses in a way that others struggle. Jen’s husband is also a physical therapist, who worked with us before Jen did, and together they have 4 beautiful children. Jennifer services the Southbury, Brookfield, Danbury area of Connecticut and has worked with us since 2015.

Ines earned her physical therapy degree from the University of Hartford and has over 20 years experience in the field. Ines joined High Quality Home Therapy in 2016 and works with patients of various ages and diagnoses including pediatrics through geriatrics, and everything in between! She specializes in rehab for hospice and palliative care, joint replacements and neurological disorders. Ines is extremely professional and takes pride in her work. She attends courses and workshops to continuously improve the care she provides to her patients.
Dr. Caryn McAllister earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut in 1995 and her Doctorate from Simmons College in 2012. Dr. McAllister started her career at St. Vincent’s Medical Center and quickly began working in homecare in 1996, the same year she developed a brain tumor that required brain surgery. Caryn’s personal and professional experiences motivated her to provide a better environment for people to achieve health & wellness.
A specialist in neurological rehabilitation, Dr. McAllister’s passions lie in pain management, pelvic floor rehab, spasticity, headache, clinical research and mental health. A consultant for pharmaceutical companies, academic institutions, clinical research sites and lawyers, Dr. McAllister has assisted in clinical trial protocol development, training for medical doctors and researchers, physical therapy conduction within global studies and has presented at national professional conferences on spasticity, headache, mindfulness, PT for mental health, collaborative care and the role of rehab in hospice and palliative care.
A fierce advocate for health care rights, Dr. McAllister volunteers time helping people obtain the services they deserve and believes that healthcare is a right not a luxury.
