Dr. Sarah Shamoon, PT, DPT, Cert. DN is a certified doctor of physical therapy with more than 13 years of experience. Dr. Shamoon specializes in blood flow restriction therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and manual lymphatic drainage. She received her Bachelor of Science and Physical Therapy Doctorate from the Oakland University in Oakland County, Michigan. Today, she provides comprehensive care for all types of orthopedic conditions in the spine and upper and lower extremities. Dr. Shamoon also treats various vestibular and vertigo disorders. Post-operative care and balance and fall prevention are two areas that she focuses on when treating patients. She performs thorough physical therapy evaluations before recommending treatments, such as rehabilitative exercises, stretches, soft tissue mobilization, or massage therapy. Dr. Kyle Heise, PT, DPT, CIDN is a doctor of physical therapy at Back To You Osteopractic Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation at our location in Canton, Michigan. Dr. Heise specializes in functional movement assessments, golf/sports therapy, dry needling, manual therapy, myofascial cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, and LSVT-BIG for Parkinson’s disease.

Dr. Ashley Niemi, PT, DPT is a doctor of physical therapy at Back To You Osteopractic Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation at our location in Canton, Michigan. Dr. Niemi specializes in pelvic health rehabilitation focusing on bowel dysfunctions, bladder dysfunctions, sexual dysfunctions, abdominal and pelvic pain as well as issues arising during pregnancy and postpartum. Dr. Niemi works with patients of all genders and age ranges with these conditions.
Dr. Long graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelors in Health Science, Minor in Exercise Science, and Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. She has taken numerous continuing education courses which include training in dry needling, pelvic floor physical therapy, visceral manipulation and treatment of TMD. Since graduating Dr. Long has worked in outpatient neurorecovery treating spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s, MS, TBI, stroke, foot drop, and other neurological conditions. Dr. Long also has experience in outpatient orthopedics treating post-operative recovery, sports injury, balance and fall training, biomechanics education, low back pain and various other orthopedic conditions.
EricTomei is a licensed physical therapist and has been working at Associated Podiatrists, P.C. since April of 2016. He earned his Master's Degree in 2001 from Oakland University in addition to a Bachelor's of Science in Health Science and Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. He was born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan and offers exceptional patient-service skills and a history of clinical excellence by treating the root-cause of a patient’s problem through biomechanical assessments. Eric believes that patient education is the key to treatment and this is what leads to superior outcomes.
