Blair is a native of Northern Virginia and recently moved to Colorado with her family from New Jersey. She graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2012 with a degree in biology and minor in dance. Following undergrad she taught Pilates-based exercise as a technician in an outpatient physical therapy clinic, which led her to pursue a 500-hour professional Pilates certification through Peak Pilates prior to attending graduate school. Blair completed her doctorate degree in physical therapy in 2017 from Thomas Jefferson University.
As a physical therapist and Pilates instructor she is a strong believer in global postural re-education training and holistic exercise that encompasses the mind-body connection for optimal outcomes. Blair is passionate about integrating Pilates-based exercise into her treatment sessions to help heal her patients.

Dr. Cate has been a PT since 2006. She earned her degrees from 1997 to 2005 and has served a diverse, integrated and holistic patient population, ranging from pediatric, adult to geriatric care & has seen clients across most settings of PT. With this, her perspective of client care goes beyond the snapshot moment in a patient's care & spans the fullness of what a rehab process looks like from hospital to fully recovered!
Prior to becoming a PT, Dr. Cate was a certified Kickboxing Instructor at the University for 4 years. At that time, she also gained her Personal Training certificate. It was her love of physical development, precise athletic movement, the empowering & affiliative coaching styles she experienced as a young athlete, & the love of studying the human body that compelled her into the PT field. Ironically, she is now bringing these two full circle in her development of Recover With Intelligence (RWI) & Train With Intelligence (TWI).

I have been practicing as a sports specialized physical therapist since 2010. I utilize a very manual based approach to treatment and have experience in several facets of instrument assisted treatment including cupping, dry needling, and Graston techniques. I utilize muscle energy technique, ART, and PNF commonly in treatment. I personally have also been a triathlete since 1999 and have competed at all levels in all distances. I also enjoy men's league ice hockey, and grew up playing soccer in high school. Treating athletes is my passion, but I treat all my patients as if they are professional athletes.
