Hi! My name is Denise. But you can call me D, or Dr. D. I have been a pediatric physical therapist since 2006. I love working with children and will gladly tell you that adults bore me! I am a wife, a mom to 3, and grandmother to 2. I currently have 2 pups, and 1 old lady cat who is very much stuck in her old lady ways. I am an endurance athlete and have participated in half marathons, triathlons and even Ironman events. I have brightly colored hair that changes color frequently, but currently is purple. But if you are curious my favorite color is orange, and yes, my hair was that color for a while too. I am currently a CME II certified therapist. I have also been trained and certified in Therasuit Method and the Universal Exercise Unit . I have a passion for Assistive Technology and received my ATACP from Cal State Northridge in April of 2021 to be able to help my clients just that much more. Dr. Keagan received his undergraduate degree from Iowa State where he assisted in their biomechanics research lab while tutoring and mentoring student-athletes. He went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Creighton University. After graduation, Dr. Keagan began practicing at an outpatient clinic focused on baseball and athletes before joining The Physio Fix team. At The Physio Fix he specializes in youth athletes and barbell sport athletes but enjoys treating everything. Dr. Keagan grew up in small-town Iowa as a multi-sport athlete – that’s where he developed his passion for lifting weights. He now trains as a competitive powerlifter and has dabbled in Olympic lifting and Strongman events. He lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife, Makenzi, who is also a physical therapist.

Anna received her undergraduate degree from the University of Akron and went on to obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. Anna has had the privilege of gaining clinical experience with a variety of athletes from youth and high school athletes to professional athletes within the MLB, NFL and NBA. Anna is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and spent 6 months living in Chile after high school where her love for lifting started to grow and where she was able to learn more about other cultures and gain fluency in Spanish. In her free time she enjoys working out, exploring Arizona and going on hikes with her boyfriend and their dog, Friday! Dr. Sarah Shamoon, PT, DPT, Cert. DN is a certified doctor of physical therapy with more than 13 years of experience. Dr. Shamoon specializes in blood flow restriction therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and manual lymphatic drainage. She received her Bachelor of Science and Physical Therapy Doctorate from the Oakland University in Oakland County, Michigan. Today, she provides comprehensive care for all types of orthopedic conditions in the spine and upper and lower extremities. Dr. Shamoon also treats various vestibular and vertigo disorders. Post-operative care and balance and fall prevention are two areas that she focuses on when treating patients. She performs thorough physical therapy evaluations before recommending treatments, such as rehabilitative exercises, stretches, soft tissue mobilization, or massage therapy. Physical therapy allows her to combine her love of people and passion for healing and making a positive difference in the world.

Kristen earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. Prior to her graduate training, she spent four years attending the University of South Florida St. Petersburg earning a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology while also competing on the Women’s Varsity Sailing Team. She became interested in physical therapy because of her own experience with sports related injuries and she enjoys helping others maintain an active lifestyle by getting them back to performing the activities they love. She has taken special interest in treating the pelvic floor utilizing a whole body approach to ensure optimal function, while also educating her patients on self-management. She has taken continuing education courses in functional dry needling, selective functional movement assessment, and women’s pelvic health. In her free time she enjoys spending time outside hiking, skiing, rock climbing, running, and biking.
