She began and ended her formal education at historically black colleges and universities (HBCU’s).In 2010, she graduated with a 4.0 GPA from Sojourner Douglass College with a licensed practical nursing certification. Sojourner Douglass College was the only HBCU in Maryland that offered the LPN-BSN bridge program.In 2012, she completed the bachelor program graduating Cum Laude, earning a bachelor of science in nursing degree.
