I graduated from Pacific University in August 2003 with a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. A month later I began my employment with Advanced Pain Management Center. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology and worked as a paramedic in western South Dakota prior to beginning graduate school. I have experience in treating all aspects of chronic pain issues and am particularly interested in the management of osteoarthritis.
My outside interests include playing recreational slow-pitch softball and umpiring youth and adult softball games. I have served as the women’s division commissioner of a softball league for the past four years.
My professional memberships include the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Oregon Society of Physician Assistants, The Oregon Medical Association, the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association, and the LBGT Physician Assistant caucus.
I am nationally board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants since graduating from Oregon Health and Sciences University in 2000. I have devoted my professional career to the treatment of chronic pain conditions and strive to provide compassionate, patient-focused care. By nature, I am a very curious person and avidly pursue continuing education and literature review related to pain management
