Lauren received her Bachelor of Nursing degree at William Paterson University, and acquired her Doctor of Nursing Practice, Adult Nurse Practitioner from Rutgers University. Prior to completing her Doctor of Nursing program, Lauren was an orthopedic nurse for five years at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. Upon graduation, she immediately began her career as a pain management nurse practitioner.
Lauren was chosen to speak about Pain Management/Opioid Crisis at the Saint Barnabas Medical Center Nursing Excellence Conference in 2018. When asked what brought Lauren to the medical field, she responded " I had brain surgery as a child, and knew that I wanted to take care of others the way I was cared for during my recovery. I originally went to school/began a career in Business Marketing but knew something was always missing; causing me to pursue my dream of becoming a nurse."
Lauren was born and raised in Northern Jersey. Outside of the office, you can find Lauren enjoying the fresh air (especially near or on water)! Wayne Fleischhacker, DO, DABA, DABPM, DAAPM, is the director of Union Spine and Pain Management with offices in Union, Scotch Plains, South Bound Brook, New Brunswick, Old Bridge, and Woodbridge, New Jersey. He has vast experience in anesthesiology and pain management, including minimally invasive pain management procedures and surgery.
Dr. Fleischhacker began his education at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York, receiving his bachelor’s degree in biology. He later achieved his medical degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Klyachman is an active researcher and author, contributing to peer-reviewed publications on topics such as sacroiliac joint pain, ketamine-based treatment for phantom limb pain (PLP), and the treatment of challenging conditions like tuberculous arachnoiditis, calcific tendonitis, and painful scar neuropathy. His work extends to chemical neurolysis for knee pain, management of Bertolotti’s syndrome for difficult lumbar pain, and understanding complex conditions like Guillain-Barre syndrome. Dr. Klyachman has also spearheaded quality improvement initiatives focused on enhancing medical safety and resident education, with projects on reducing medical abbreviations and improving training for rehabilitation care.

Dr. Marcelo del Rio, PT, DPT has been a physical therapist for 5 years. Marcelo received my Doctorate Degree at Long Island University - Brooklyn. He has been in out-patient PT for 3 years is now doing in-home physical therapy with Reddy Care. His favorite condition to treat would include any neurological condition (Parkinoson's, MS etc.) as he is able to utilize his knowledge to help improve these patients' functional ability.

After earning his Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Dr. Ferrer earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark, where he attended on the Dean’s Academic Excellence Scholarship.
Dr. Ferrer went on to complete an internal medicine internship at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune City, New Jersey. He completed both his residency and fellowship training through Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey and JFK Johnson Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey.
To gain additional expertise, Dr. Ferrer became board certified through the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He maintains subspecialties in physical medicine and rehabilitation, as well as pain medicine. Dr. Ferrer also currently holds privileges at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey, and Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey.
Dr. Ferrer prides himself on being able to perform a variety of effective nonsurgical procedures where he can optimize patient outcomes and shorter recovery times for various types of conditions and injuries. He has extensive training and certification in medical acupuncture to help patients recover from chronic pain-causing conditions and sports injuries.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ferrer has helped author articles on youth rotator cuff injuries and interventional pain management assessment techniques for pain medicine fellows. Dr. Ferrer regularly hosts community lectures on the numerous innovative treatment options for pain management.
