Meet Dr. Williams Dr. Christopher J. Dr. Chitchyan is native of Armenia, a small country in Trans-Caucasus region. He received his Medical Doctor degree in 1999 from Yerevan State Medical University in Armenia. Diara S. Gross, DO is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician, board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPM&R) as well as the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AOBPM&R). In 2015, she received her board certification in sports medicine following her sports medicine fellowship at North Shore LIJ-Plainview Hospital in NY. During her fellowship training, she was one of the team physicians for Long Island University-CW Post Football team for the 2013 season and was the sole medical provider for the football team’s away games. She also served as one of the covering medical physicians for the 2013 US Open. Allen Hord, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist at two Alliance Spine & Pain locations in Atlanta and Sandy Springs, Georgia. As the medical director, Dr. Hord holds a wealth of experience in interventional pain techniques, providing pain management services for over 30 years. 

Dr. Hord has been practicing medicine, teaching, and researching for over 16 years. He has dedicated his professional life to advancing the field of pain medicine as well as developing the skills of future professionals. 

With his extensive training and knowledge, he was grateful to have served as the Chief Medical Officer at Alliance Spine & Pain from 2013-2018. He is currently serving as the Medical Director at the practice. 

Dr. Hord is considered a pioneer in interventional pain management, highly regarded by his peers and patients alike as an expert in pain medicine. Richard Gayles, MD, is a double board-certified specialist in anesthesiology and pain management and a nationally recognized leader in regenerative medicine. Upon receiving a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of Michigan, Dr. Gayles went on to complete his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Michigan's School of Medicine.

Dr. Gayles furthered his training by completing an anesthesia residency at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland, and a specialized pain management fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Prior to his fellowship, Dr. Gayles' dedication to learning and expanding his horizons led him overseas to England, where he spent a year studying anesthesiology and critical care at the prestigious St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London as a visiting registrar.

Beata Grochowska, MD, is a double board-certified Anesthesiologist and Pain Management  Specialist with over seventeen years of experience. Dedicated to providing high-quality care and pain relief for all her patients, Dr. Grochowska sees patients at Alliance Spine & Pain in Piedmont/Atlanta and Austell, Georgia.

Dr. Grochowska obtained her medical degree from the Medical Academies of Bialystok and Lublin (UMB) in Poland, strategically located in the heart of Europe. It’s soon to be branded Medical Academy and is ranked as one of the top global universities.

She completed her residency at Mokotow Hospital in Warsaw, Poland, and at Emory University Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia, after relocating to the United States.

Before joining Alliance Spine & Pain, Dr. Grochowska gained valuable experience working as Medical Director and Chief of Anesthesia Services at Perimeter Surgery Center in Atlanta, specializing in chronic low back pain, Postlaminectomy syndrome, Lumbar Spondylosis, Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction, Sciatica, cervicogenic headache, CRPS, and Neuropathic Pain.
