Dr. John Huffman, MD is a pain management physician practicing at Interventional Pain and Regenerative Medicine Specialists in Arlington, Virginia on the campus of the Virginia Hospital Center. He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (1994 - present) with an additional Pain Medicine Certification (1996 - present).
Dr. Huffman completed his anesthesiology residency and pain medicine training at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Kapteyn received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV, followed by a medical internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Kapteyn then pursued his residency at Georgetown University and the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington D.C. He further honed his expertise through fellowship training in interventional pain at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Dr Kapteyn is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, pain medicine, and board eligible Hospice and Palliative care. A Grand Rapids, MI native, Dr. Kapteyn loves the warm weather and vibrant culture of the nations capital, Washington, DC, and is excited to return. Dr. Tsuji trained at the University of Hawaii, Hilo, and University of Hawaii, Manoa campuses where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, and Master’s in Biochemistry.
He moved from the tropics to the cold of Illinois where he received his Doctorate of Medicine at the Chicago Medical School. Longing for warmer climates, he entered the Naval Service and was stationed at San Diego Medical Center for his surgical internship. In the Navy, Lieutenant Commander Tsuji was the Medical Officer on USS Acadia, Senior Medical Officer on USS Fort McHenry, and the Head of Sports Medicine at Navy Boot Camp back in North Chicago.
After leaving the Navy he finished a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency at Sinai & Johns Hopkins before returning to milder climates. On the Big Island of Hawaii he completed an Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine Fellowship. Dr. Tsuji is Board Certified in Pain Medicine.
Stephanie Clop, MD, is a board-certified physiatrist focusing on physical medicine and rehabilitation at Integrated Spine and Pain Services in Falls Church and Alexandria, Virginia. Dr. Clop dedicates her practice to state-of-the-art treatments of acute and chronic pain.

George Drakes, MD, is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist and interventional pain management physician highly specialized in pain relief. Dr. Drakes is the Medical Director and Founder of Metro Spine PC, with offices in Clinton, Takoma Park, and Oxon Hill, Maryland.
Inspired by a family that promoted healthy living and medicine, Dr. Drakes pursued a career in Pain Medicine and Rehabilitation with a passion for impacting the lives of those living with pain.
