Dr. Omran Bishbish Zeino is a Board Certified Periodontal and implant surgeon. He earned his first Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Damascus in 2008. After graduation, he attended a 4-years residency program in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. After moving to the United States, he earned his second Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Loma Linda University. He practiced as a general dentist in Southern California for 3 years, before earning a Certificate in Periodontal and Implant Surgery from Loma Linda University along with a Master of Science degree M.S.
In 2015, Dr. Zeino earned the distinguished Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) award. In 2016, he received an honor in implant dentistry along with student achievement award. In 2020 he received the Healing Hands award from Loma Linda University.

Sahar Shafi, DDS, is a board-certified periodontist at Santa Monica Bay Dental, located in Santa Monica, California. She’s an expert in minimally invasive procedures such as flapless extractions, soft tissue grafting microsurgery, bone grafting, and regenerative procedures. She’s also a trained professional in full-mouth rehabilitation involving esthetic periodontal plastic surgery, sinus augmentations, and immediate and delayed implant placement.
Dr. Shafi earned her Bachelor of Science in biology from California State University, Fresno, summa cum laude. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She continued on her quest for learning by completing a one-year residency at Sepulveda Veterans Affairs Medical Center, in North Hills, California, followed by a periodontal surgery and implantology residency at UCLA.

Dr. Fani is our gum specialist. She completed her undergraduate studies at UC Irvine and UCLA, followed by her dental degree from USC, where she graduated with honors. Dr. Fani continued her studies at USC to complete her postgraduate certificate in Periodontics in 1993. She continues to educate herself today in order to provide the highest level of treatment and patient satisfaction possible. Dr. Fani is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the San Fernando Valley Dental Association.
Dr. Sam has been with the practice for over 25 years. A combination of knowledge, experience, and a sincere care has made him extremely successful and well loved by his patients. Dr. Sam received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from UCLA in 1984 and continued his studies at UCLA Dental School to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery, degree in 1988. He then specialized in Periodontics and Implantology at Loma Linda University. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology in 1996. This award is the highest recognition of achievement offered by the specialty and which is given by doctors who demonstrate continued professional development and interest in providing the best and most up to date care to patients in the area of Periodontology and Implantology.
Dr. Sam's hobbies are coaching his son's basketball team as well as following the Lakers. Raising his four sons keeps him very busy out of the office.
Dr. Galustian is a Periodontist specializing in gum disease. He received his DDS degree from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
