Nauman Ahmad, MD, FAAP, is a pediatric physician who has specialized in pediatric cardiology. At Pediatrician Specialty Practices, with locations in Federal Way and Puyallup, Washington, he is enthused by his passion for providing children with a medical clinic where parents and pediatricians can develop lifelong partnerships. He aims to provide children comprehensive care to achieve optimal growth and development.
With inpatient hospitalist and pediatric critical care experience, Dr. Ahmad has now taken over Pediatrician Specialty Practices (previously known as Federal Way Pediatric Associates) in King County and is accepting new patients. His focus is on providing general pediatric cardiology care to his patients.
Dr. Ahmad completed his residency at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City and is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. With an extensive background in pediatric cardiology and three years of inpatient critical care experience by working at Children’s Hospital of New York (Columbia Presbyterian), Dr. Ahmad established himself as a renowned and trusted pediatric cardiologist for countless local families in the Federal Way area.
Common conditions he treats include various forms of congenital heart diseases which present as heart murmur, failed congenital heart disease screen in newborns, cyanotic heart disease, acquired heart disease including Kawasaki disease, rheumatic heart disease, pulmonary hypertension, and various forms of cardiomyopathy. Other common conditions that Dr. Ahmad treats include chest pain, palpitations, syncope, ADHD, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, obesity, Down syndrome, Marfan’s syndrome, and sports clearance in high-end athletes to prevent sudden cardiac death, as well as arrhythmias and channelopathies.
Dr. Ahmad also performs fetal echocardiograms in collaboration with maternal obstetrics physicians. All tests including electrocardiogram, echocardiogram, fetal echocardiogram, Holter monitor, and blood pressure monitor are done on site, and results are shared with families in a timely fashion.
Dr. Ahmad is an Associate Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Anne Guion, ARNP, PNP is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a special interest in Developmental Pediatrics. Anne has worked across the field of pediatric medicine for over 10 years. She is a certified Autism Center of Excellence Provider by the Washington State Health Care Authority and former University of Washington LEND Fellow. At the University of Washington, she participated in focused training in the diagnosis and care of neurodiverse children and adults. Through her work as a medical provider in school based health, she also has extensive experience navigating public school systems across the Puget Sound area, and is passionate about partnering with families and school systems to help their educational programming work for each individual child. Anne also is an active member of ECHO Autism Washington, a program hosted by the University of Washington which connects autism providers in Washington and facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration across the state.
Sung Park, MD (aka Dr. Sean) is a board-certified pediatrician with 15 years of experience dedicated to caring for children through all stages of health and wellness. He currently practices at Lighthouse Pediatrics in Issaquah, Washington, where he combines evidence-based medicine with a compassionate understanding of the challenges and joys of parenting.
A proud husband and father, Dr. Sean is supported by his amazing partner and two energetic, hilarious kids. His family moved to Issaquah shortly before the launch of Lighthouse Pediatrics and has embraced the community with open arms. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Sean enjoys coaching Little League and exploring the area's beautiful hiking trails—always happy to connect with families along the way.
Dr. Sean's education journey includes earning a bachelor's degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a medical degree from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his pediatric residency at Primary Children's Medical Center through the University of Utah. While his formal training built a strong foundation, Dr. Sean credits his family and patients as his greatest teachers, shaping his holistic and empathetic approach to pediatric care.
