Trinidad Rojas, MD, goes above and beyond to deliver quality pediatric care to patients in and around Fairfax, Virginia. Dr. Rojas started her journey into medicine in 1972 after becoming a medical doctor at the Universidad de Oriente Medical School in her home country of Venezuela.
Dr. Rojas immediately went to work to gather critical clinical skills and worked as a house physician at Carupano’s General Hospital from 1972 to 1976. She later moved to the United States to pursue further education. She would go on to complete the flexible internship program at Perth Amboy General Hospital in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.

Dr. Meyer grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, and completed her undergraduate studies in biology at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, where she graduated with honors. Dr. Sara Halpern grew up in Ithaca, New York. She received her BS in Behavioral Science at McGill University in Montreal, and then moved to Tel Aviv, Israel to attend medical school at Sackler School of Medicine. She returned to the US (after 9 years!) and came to Washington DC in 2018 to complete her residency at Children’s National Medical Center. She is proficient in French and conversational Hebrew. Dr. Halpern will be living in DC with her tiny but energetic cat Bitsy. In her free time outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and trying out all the restaurants in DC with friends. Dr. Nguyen was born in Vietnam and raised in the Northern Virginia area. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of Virginia in 1992 and went on to the National Institutes of Health to conduct clinical research trials on pediatric obesity. In 2004, she earned her medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.
In 2008, Dr. Nguyen completed her pediatric residency at Inova Children's Hospital. She worked in a pediatric group practice in Loudoun County for 10 years prior to joining Virginia Pediatric Group in 2018.
