Laleh Rezaei, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician at Complete Pediatrics and Specialty Care located in New Albany, Indiana. Dr. Rezaei began her medical career as an undergraduate student at Macon College in Macon, Georgia where she earned an associate degree in nursing. She continued on to the University of Georgia in Athens where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry.
Prior to enrolling in medical school, Dr. Rezaei worked as a registered nurse in pediatrics, adult intensive care, and open heart unit. She earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky, where she went on to complete her residency in pediatrics.
Dr. Rezaei is a member of several medical professional associations including the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Indiana State Medical Association, and the Kentucky Medical Association. She is listed in the Global Directory of WHO’S WHO that honors executives and professionals and in The Trademark Top Doctors of America.
In addition to caring for her patients, Dr. Rezaei served as Chief of Pediatrics for two years at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany. She is pursuing a fellowship from the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM), preparing for her IFM board certification exam next year. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her two sons.
