Majé Goodwin, MD, is a Board Certified pediatrician at Northlake Children’s Associates, PA, in Mooresville, North Carolina. She aims to make care easy and fun for children and adolescents while providing parents the knowledge and tools they need to give their children a healthy home life.
A Nashville, Tennessee, native, Dr. Goodwin attended college at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree, she moved back to her hometown to earn her medical degree from Meharry Medical College. After obtaining both degrees, she remained in Nashville to complete her residency in pediatrics at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Goodwin provides children of all ages with quality, comprehensive service, caring for many patients throughout their childhood into adulthood. She forms relationships with patients and their family members alike in order to maintain open communication among everyone involved. When she’s out of the office, she loves to travel, play sports, and spend time with her friends and family.
Mary-Margaret James, MD, is a Board Certified pediatrician and the owner of Northlake Children’s Associates, PA, in Mooresville, North Carolina. She’s great with families and children, striving to make each patient’s experience smooth, positive, and hassle-free.
A native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Dr. James began her education in her home state at the University of Richmond. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree, she earned her pharmacy doctorate at Mercer University in Atlanta. She moved back to Virginia to pursue and obtain her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. After deciding she wanted to work with children and adolescent patients in particular, she completed her residency in pediatrics at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Dr. James caters to both sick and healthy children, helping them to practice preventive care and establish healthy habits between appointments. When she isn’t treating children or counseling their families in regards to their care, Dr. James loves to play sports, especially tennis, and enjoys traveling and visiting her family.
