Robert C. Platner, MD, brings more than 20 years of experience in pediatric medicine to Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics, serving children and adolescents in Atlanta, Georgia, and throughout Fulton County.
Dr. Platner was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He began his professional pursuits at Washington University in St. Louis, where he earned his undergraduate degree. The following year, Dr. Platner enrolled at The University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. He subsequently completed a residency in pediatrics at Emory University in Atlanta.
Dr. Platner is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a proud Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of asthma and allergies, as well as attention-deficit disorder and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADD/ADHD). When he isn’t working with patients or augmenting his professional skills, Dr. Platner serves as an adjunct faculty member of the Emory School of Medicine.

Tennisha Edwards, CPNP-PC, is a board-certified primary care pediatric nurse practitioner at Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics in Atlanta, Georgia. Claire Wilkiemeyer, MD, brings more than a decade of experience in pediatrics to Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics, serving children and adolescents in Atlanta, Georgia, and throughout Fulton County.
Dr. Wilkiemeyer grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and began her professional education in Virginia, where she earned her undergraduate degree. After obtaining her diploma, Dr. Wilkiemeyer moved to New Orleans and enrolled at the Tulane University School of Medicine, where she obtained her Doctor of Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Wilkiemeyer completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Wilkiemeyer is board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition to diagnosing and treating common pediatric conditions, she specializes in parent education and helping her young patients make healthy choices.
In her spare time, you can find Dr. Wilkiemeyer spending time with her family on the Beltline and in Piedmont Park. She also enjoys gardening, running, and supporting local sports teams. Leslie Mosteller, PA-C, recently moved to Atlanta from the DC area, where she worked in pediatrics over the last seven years, both in the emergency department at Children’s National and in pediatric primary care. She became certified as a lactation consultant (IBCLC) in 2021 to better support her breastfeeding families, and is passionate about supporting families in their feeding journeys.
She graduated from the PA program at George Washington University in 2016, earning a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Prior to her training as a PA-C, Leslie worked in health informatics and public health in Charleston, SC. She holds a Masters in Health Communication from the University of Sydney, where she studied as a Global Ambassadorial Scholar with Rotary International in 2010-2011. She is passionate about global public health and has worked on projects in Australasia, Peru, the Dominican Republic, Uganda, and Washington, DC. She has an undergraduate degree in English and Pre-medicine from Davidson College in NC and loves to share her love for reading with her patients.
She lives with her husband and two young daughters in the Atlanta area and in her free time enjoys spending time with her family, running, hiking, painting, gardening, and exploring local parks and museums. She is thrilled to be joining Old Fourth Ward Pediatrics.

Dr. Kaamilah Barnett is an Atlanta native. After completing her undergraduate studies in Kentucky, she earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She subsequently returned to Atlanta and completed her residency at Emory University School of Medicine.
