After receiving her dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Dr. Nguyen completed her general practice residency at St. Joseph's Children Hospital and University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. She went on to complete another residency in pediatric dentistry at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York City, where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Nguyen then underwent extensive training at the Rose F. Kennedy Children's Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center in New York City, where she provided dental care for young patients with physical and developmental disabilities. About Dr. Sybil Padavathil

 Dr. Padavathil (“Dr.Sybil”) is a transplant from the Sunshine State!  She was born and raised in the Fort Lauderdale area and obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida.  She then moved up north to pursue her dental education at Boston University.  After completing a residency in Brooklyn and working for one year as a general dentist, Dr. Sybil decided that her passion was working with children.  She then went back into training to complete her two-year residency in pediatrics where she treated countless patients from all backgrounds and needs.   Being a mom of two, Dr. Sybil strives to provide the highest quality of care that she would want for her own children.  She is experienced with meeting the needs of patients who would be better treated with sedation services including General Anesthesia, IV sedation, or nitrous oxide.

When Dr. Sybil isn't in the office, she can be found spending time with her husband, her two young children, and their dog Oliver.  She enjoys being active, spending time outdoors (especially at the beach), and having dance parties with her kids! 

Dr. Gopi Surti is a board-eligible pediatric dentist who loves being a part of the top-rated team at EPD! Julianna Bair, DMD, is a board-certified pediatric dentist and endodontist at NYCEndodontics in the Lenox Hill area of Manhattan. She is dedicating to providing individualized and quality care to patients in New York City.

Dr. Bair grew up in Livingston, New Jersey, and attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in molecular biology/biochemistry and Spanish literature. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. She then went on to complete a general practice residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, affiliated with Columbia University, and a pediatric dental residency program at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn. 

As a pediatric specialist, Dr. Bair saw a need for herself to learn more about endodontics. This passion led her to complete her final residency program in endodontics at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. As a dual specialist at an endodontic practice, Dr. Bair treats children and adults, delivering the highest quality care with that extra gentle touch of a pediatric dentist.

Isabel Del Valle is a born and raised in Union NJ, where she loves to give back to her community.  She has a double BA in Criminal Justice and Psychology and studying to be a Marriage and Family Therapist.  Isabel helped create the Criminal Justice club in college and became Vice President of the club and voluntarily worked as a facilitator for support groups at Good Grief in Princeton, NJ.  She has worked with children for 10+ years and has done volunteer work with Petey Greene. Isabel has a special love and passion for children and families and she is one to give her best at all times. 

Dr. Alvina Lim is a fourth generation dentist. Born in California and raised in Indonesia, she was exposed to a variety of cultures at an early age. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Southern Adventist University in Tennessee and her dental degree from Loma Linda University in California.

After graduating from a general practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, she worked in New York for two years as a general practitioner. This is where her passion for pediatric dental care developed. She pursued additional specialized training in pediatric dentistry at Mount Sinai Hospital where she served as Chief Resident. She continues to be held in high regard by distinguished professors and peers for her superb work ethic and her attention to detail.

When not at work, Dr. Lim enjoys spending time with husband and their baby girl. She has been actively involved in both local and international dental outreach programs including Thailand, Guyana and Guatemala.

Dr. Shiva Basir is a board certified pediatric dentist who believes that dentistry should be a fun experience for children. Her goal is to provide the best care to her young patients in a gentle way while ensuring good oral health habit formation by providing support and guidance to patients and their parents.

Shiva graduated from Columbia University with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. She completed her post doctoral education in general practice at the New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn. While in practice as a general dentist, she discovered her joy and natural ability to work with children and decided to continue her education in pediatric dentistry. She received an additional 2 years of post doctoral training specializing in pediatric dentistry at Saint Joseph’s Regional Hospital in Paterson, NJ.

Dr. Basir is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and a member of the America Association of Pediatric Dentistry, ADA (American Dental Association) and NYSDS (New York State Dental Society).

When she is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys other activities such as yoga, surfing, skiing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
