Dr. Tontat, DMD ("Dr. Yasmin") is so excited to be joining Edgewater Pediatric Dentistry! She is passionate about oral health and helping families build meaningful relationships with their dental team. Originally from sunny southern California, Dr. Yasmin studied Psychobiology at the University of California, Los Angeles. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania where she concurrently received her Masters of Public Health through the Perelman School of Medicine and completed a fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to expand her training on caring for children with different neurodevelopmental disabilities. Having fallen in love with the east coast, she then completed her pediatric residency at New York Presbyterian Kids/Columbia University Medical Center with special competence in caring for children with special healthcare needs and craniofacial conditions.
Dr. Yasmin is an active member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry. In her free time, you can find her cooking new recipes, running along the Hudson River, or exploring the city with her Australian Shepherd, Oso!

Nathalie Phaeton, DDS, is a highly skilled and caring pediatric dentist who treats patients from early childhood to adolescence at Oasis Pediatric Dental Care & Orthodontics in Falls Church, Virginia.
Dr. Phaeton completed her undergraduate education at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. Staci Brunell, DMD, (aka "Dr. Staci") is an experienced pediatric dentist at Yorktown Pediatric Dentistry in Yorktown Heights, New York.
Dr. Staci earned her undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and her dental degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She then completed a one-year general practice residency at Phelps Memorial Hospital through New York Medical College. Following her general dentistry training, Dr. Staci undertook a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, where she served as Chief Resident and consistently volunteered her time and services to promote positive dental health among children and adolescents.

Dr. Zia Ahmadzada completed his undergraduate education at the University of New York at Albany in 1997. He then went on to receive, in 2002, a doctorate of dental medicine (DMD) at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, one of the oldest dental schools in the United States. As the second largest dental school in America, with a class size of approximately 190 students each, it has an excellent reputation, and it is renowned as a center for academic and clinical excellence. While at Tufts, Dr. Ahmadzada was recognized for attaining the Dean’s list for outstanding achievement and high performance on the National Board of Dentistry. He was also awarded an Endowed Prize Award for Ethics. Chris Pae, DDS, is a board-certified pediatric dentist serving patients at Pediatric Dental Group of New York, with two locations in Albany and Glens Falls, New York.
Dr. Pae grew up in Queens, New York, and went to Fordham University, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in Long Island, New York. It was at Stony Brook that Dr. Pae realized his love for treating children and went on to complete his pediatric specialty training at NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Pae strives to make every patient and parent encounter as fun and informative as possible.
