Dr. Alan Silberberg obtained his undergraduate degree from Duke University and medical degree at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in North Carolina. He completed his anesthesiology residency in 2009 and fellowship training in 2010 at the highly regarded University of California in San Diego.
In 2014, Dr. Silberberg founded Greater Austin Pain Center and since then has focused on expanding his team of specialists dedicated to practicing interventional pain management for residents in Austin, Kyle, Dripping Springs, and San Marcos.
In his spare time, Dr. Silberberg enjoys swimming, cooking, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
Dr. Jonathan Julia grew up in New England, midway between Boston and New York City. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a concentration in Pre-medicine and minor in History, from Boston College in 2009. He earned his Master of Science in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C in 2011, graduating with honors. He matriculated into the Georgetown University School of Medicine where he earned his Doctorate of Medicine in 2016, graduating with honors, after electing to complete an additional year of clinical research on top of his academics.
After medical school, Dr. Julia moved to Texas to be closer to his wife’s family. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2020, serving as administrative Chief Resident in his final year of training. Dr. Julia completed his fellowship in Pain Medicine in 2021, also at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio.
