Dr. Smith received his Associates in Nursing from State College of Florida and went on to receive his Baccalaureate and Masters degrees from South University in Tampa, Florida. In June of 2019, Dr. Smith completed his Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University. He is BLS, ACLS, and PALS certified. Dr. Smith is a certified nurse practitioner through the AANP. Dr. Smith approaches patients with a personalized multidisciplinary approach to reach target outcomes. He is married with three children. In his spare time, he enjoys fencing and reading.

His professional memberships include the OMA, American Academy of Pain Medicine, North American Neuromodulation Society, International Association for the Study of Pain, Pain Society of Oregon, and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine. Dr. Rask performs procedures at Waverly Lake Surgery Center in Albany, OR as well as at both the Corvallis Clinic Surgery Center and Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, OR. In his spare time, Dr. Rask enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, biking, fishing, and hiking.
