Mayson Callaway, MD, joined the Pain Consultants of Atlanta team in 2021, bringing his expertise in interventional pain medicine to the center’s locations in Stockbridge and the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. Double board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine, Dr. Callaway specializes in vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty as well as spinal cord, peripheral nerve, and dorsal root ganglion stimulation. 

Born and raised in Decatur, Georgia, Dr. Callaway is a proud graduate of Woodward Academy. He pursued his undergraduate education at the University of Georgia in Athens, earning dual bachelor's degrees in German and genetics with honors. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta to obtain his medical degree.

Dr. Callaway's medical journey continued with an internship in general surgery at the University of Colorado in Denver. Allen Hord, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist at two Alliance Spine & Pain locations in Atlanta and Sandy Springs, Georgia. As the medical director, Dr. Hord holds a wealth of experience in interventional pain techniques, providing pain management services for over 30 years. 

Dr. Hord has been practicing medicine, teaching, and researching for over 16 years. He has dedicated his professional life to advancing the field of pain medicine as well as developing the skills of future professionals.

Dr. David Neckman practices at the Conyers, Covington, and Piedmont/Atlanta locations.  Dr. Neckman graduated from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City where he also went on to complete a residency in anesthesiology and a pain medicine fellowship. He is double board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine in addition to being named an Atlanta magazine Top Doctor in 2022, and again in 2023.
